Hi Ville,

Thanks for the great review of Total Uninstall it seems like a really interesting programand for only $30 it could save a home user a lot of work. The fact that Nathan ( in the post above) is using this just to save the registry file is quite an interesting angle and something that I would consider using this software myself to do as I to am a little bit of a gamer. and as we all know after a certain amount of time operating systems don't particularly like to work the way they do when you first set them up.

Thanks again for your review of this software

Martau always updates his software every time I visit his site! Its quite amazing really, I have been using Total Uninstall since 2002 and I also recommend this product as one of the best products out there. There has been vast improvements and new features added. Like you experienced some of the new features are over zealous, but all in, it does the job most of the time.

I only use total uninstall to save the registry changes to a file, or catch installed dll files, so if i re-image my OS I can import the reg file without needing an installation. This is mainly useful for games which pickup registry settings and prompt you to re-install the software if it can't find the reg key, even though all the files are installed.
